The Dreamy Woodlands
THE DREAMY WOODLANDS IS A RE-BRANDING AND NEW DIRECTION FOR MY ARTWORK AND ONLINE PRESENCE. THIS IS THE KEY IMAGE WITH COLOR PALETTE AND SUBJECT MATTER THAT WILL BE REFLECTED IN THE WORLD I CREATE.
Bohemian Night Craft Beer Design
I was commissioned by obed and isaac’s brewery to recreate a label for one of their in house brews. the brief was to capture the eye of the consumer while playing into the story of the name of the beer, bohemian Night. I did some research into the gypsy culture, which is my own heritage, and focused on the layering of textiles and accessories for my design. I wanted to chose colors that were vibrant and would pop when staring at a whole case of craft beers at the store. This is the design that we landed on but I made sure to send the client my initial sketches, color variations, and logo placement options and ideations for their convenience.

I WAS COMMISSIONED TO CREATE A LOGO FOR AN INDIE GAMING STUDIO, QUESTBOARD GAMES. THE CLIENT WANTED THE LOGO TO BE OBVIOUS IN TERMS OF INDUSTRY. SO, THE GAMING CONTROLLER WAS ONE OF MY FIRST IDEAS TO ACHIEVE THAT GOAL. THe CLIENT also REQUESTed TO GIVE THE LOGO A MEDIEVAL OR OLD TIMEY FEEL. THE CLIENT LOVES THE CONCEPT OF PLAYERS AND HEROES GOING UP TO QUEST BOARDS IN GAMES IN ORDER TO PROGRESS THROUGH GAMEPLAY AND STORY. SO, I PLAYED WITH A FEW IDEAS INCLUDING SCROLLS, NAILS, AND WOODEN BOARDS BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE FINAL DESIGN. THE COLORS ARE INSPIRED BY A DIRTY PIECE OF PARCHMENT THAT YOU MAY FIND ON A QUEST BOARD AND I DECIDED TO MAKE THE CONTROLLER OUT OF WOOD. THIS WOODEN TEXTURE FURTHERS THE STORY OF THERE BEING A WOODEN POST OR BOARD TO POST QUEST TOO WITHOUT IT BEING TOO LITERAL. THE CLIENT WAS VERY HAPPY AND I’M CONTINUING TO WORK WITH THEM TO FURTHER THEIR BRAND IDENTITY.
